Meet Our Mentors
Dr Devinia Lavan-Iswaran is an expert in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry including composite bonding, Invisalign, veneers and teeth whitening. She completed a Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy in 2019 and now teaches dentists new to the Invisalign system.
She joined Dr. Bhavin on the Aligner Business course at the beginning of his journey and forms an integral part of our crew and team. Her amazing personality allows her to connect and mentor our delegates with the vast knowledge and experience that she exudes.
She is an absolute foodie, loves to cook and bakes for family and friends. She is also a trained Zumba Instructor and often makes the course fun and enjoyable with her dance routines!

Shakir has been working with and been a part of the Aligner business course for over 5 years now. His experience as a principal dentist of two very successful private practices allows him to share not only his knowledge and expertise in the field but also motivate and guide our delegates in their journey.
His main passion and expertise lie in improving patients’ smiles with invisible braces such as Invisalign clear aligners. I enjoy the feeling of providing life-changing beautiful smiles and to see the impact it has on the lives of individual patients. Outside dentistry, his interests include keeping fit and participating in sports such as football, golf and running marathons!

Wasim is passionate about Implant dentistry and our communication and consent expert.
Having completed his masters from the world renowned University of Goethe, he is now an accredited tutor in the MSc course. He has lectured internationally and has been awarded diplomate status from the International Congress of Implantology.
He is a great asset to Aligner Business coaching as he he is expert in teaching communication, complaint handling and consent.
Away from dentistry, Wasim is an avid sports fan, playing football, cricket, snooker and scuba diving. He loves to travel and has visited many countries in the Far East, Africa and America.

Dr. Zahra Nimaa
A graduate from King’s College London in 2014 with honours, Zahra has worked extensively in various dental and surgical specialties in hospitals in and around London and has honed her skills in Restorative and Minimally Invasive Dentistry.
As an associate her involvement with the Aligner Business Course started a few years ago when she joined the course through a friend’s recommendation. She is on course to become a ‘ Super Associate’ – Whilst other colleagues and friends are struggling with gappy diaries and lack of patients, Zahra has used her skills and workflows taught at the course to increase her patient list, private revenue and enjoy dentistry by perfecting her patient consultation.
An avid music fan, Dr Zahra enjoys playing guitar and live music.

Jeet is our Multi- award-winning specialist in orthodontics – and has exclusively worked in orthodontics since 2014. He is passionate about providing high-quality Invisalign treatment to patients requiring both simple and complex treatment.
He has recently set up his own training academy for dentists that wish to develop their skills in aligner and fixed orthodontics. He qualified as a dentist in 2011 and has recently been awarded the prestigious Dewell award from the American Association of Orthodontics, becoming a part of a very small group of British orthodontists to have won the award.
In his spare time, he enjoys practising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, going to the gym and travelling.

Som took over his practice A1 Dental in 2014 and his vision has been to focus on providing unparalleled patient care and offering the highest quality dentistry available. Som has been providing Invisalign treatment since 2009 and has treated hundreds of patients using this amazing clear brace system.
He is also a keen fan of all sports and when he is not at work you will find him running or playing golf or doing Yoga and reading books.
Som started working with Bhavin at the Aligner Business Course because of his commitment to continued knowledge and education for Aligner therapy and has worked extensively to improve workflows and protocols.

Dr Yogi Savania has successfully treated hundreds of Invisalign patients having been a provider since 2011. He has seen the numerous innovations implemented in that time that have made Invisalign the market leader in aligner therapy.
Dr Savania takes great pride in the fact that he has personally planned every case he has treated. He has trained extensively in Smile Design so will work to provide the best tooth alignment for your individual facial features so that you will result in an attractive, natural confident smile that you can be proud of.
He is one of our diploma assessors and mentors imparting his knowledge and experience to all the delegates.
